Acute care diagnostics you can trust
Aidian is your best partner in the demanding field of acute care diagnostics. Here we have selected two systems into focus; our own flagship QuikRead go Instrument and our partner Nova Biomedical's EMS Stat package which includes the StatStrip LAC/Hb/Hct and the Statstrip Glu/Ket point of care (POC) systems. These systems have all the features crucial for practical acute care diagnostics; they are small and easy to carry around as well as equipped with sampling directly from the finger prick and great connectivity features.
QuikRead go Instrument with the QuikRead go easy CRP test provides quantitative C-reactive protein (CRP) results in only 2 minutes with minimal hands-on time. The unique one-step sample collector with small sample volume enables fast and easy testing from drop of blood. The QuikRead go easy CRP test results are comparable with clinical chemistry analyzers1. Accurate measurement of CRP can be critical in the management of a patient with symptoms of an infection. QuikRead go Instrument is well suited for emergency and ambulatory use, as the device is light weight, can be battery operated and offers wireless data transfer to HIS/LIS.
Aidian distributes Nova Biomedical's EMS Stat package in the Nordics. EMS Stat package includes the StatStrip LAC/Hb/Hct and StatStrip Glu/Ket systems. Nova Biomedical products enable lactate (LAC), hemoglobin (Hb) & hematocrit (Hct), glucose (Glu), and beta ketone (Ket) testing for early patient assessment and treatment. StatStrip LAC/Hb/Hct is a system that provides rapid and timely trending of lactate in hypoperfusion during sepsis (or other conditions of hypoperfusion) for assessment of treatment efforts. StatStrip LAC/Hb/Hct also delivers accurate results for anemia evaluation, which requires both measured Hct and measured Hb values. StatStrip LAC/Hb/Hct is the only POC system to provide anemia screening and monitoring with measured, not calculated, Hb and Hct tests.
StatStrip Glu/Ket system uses the world's most extensively studied and proven glucose strip. Abnormal glucose levels are frequently encountered in ambulance patients. Medical conditions that warrant pre-hospital blood glucose testing include diabetes, altered mental state, seizure, acute coronary syndrome, organ injury, trauma, sepsis, septic shock, and burns.2-4 Blood ketone testing provides rapid detection or rule out of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), the leading cause of hospitalization and death for children with diabetes.5
